Study Shows Kegels Help Men Last Longer During Intercourse

In the study, 40 men who suffered from lifelong premature ejaculation (defined as the inability to last more than a minute), performed kegels, or “pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation” as it was referred to in the study, for a period of 12 weeks.

Before the treatment, men had an average intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) — amount of time they could last, in layman’s terms — of only 39 seconds!

Immediately following the treatment, 82% of the subjects were able to last longer during intercourse by an average of NEARLY TWO MINUTES! (IELT of 146 seconds).

Now, two and a half minutes may not seem like much to some, but when you’re used to ejaculating after only a few of pumps, that’s not bad at all.

Six month’s later, 39% of the men maintained an average IELT of 112 seconds, which isn’t the longest, but is still much better than 39 seconds…

PC Strengthening with Kegels = An Important Part Of Lasting Longer During Intercourse… But…

Lasting two and half minutes is a BIG accomplishment for men who’ve never been able to last longer than a minute, but you will need much more than that in order to make a woman orgasm.

So how long does it take to make a woman orgasm?  Usually longer than it takes most men to ejaculate… herein lies the problem. Adding minutes to your performance is fun, but unless you’re getting the job done, you’re extending your performance for nothing.

In order to make a woman orgasm, you need to, most importantly, penetrate her correctly (adding pressure on the clitoris is important), and secondly have the proper mind-state to last longer during intercourse… PC strengthening is also a helpful part of gaining ejaculation control, and highly advisable to ANYONE looking to extend their performance, but without the first two, you’ll never really get to where you want to be.

I believe the mental boost these men had while training is what accounted for most of the ejaculation control they gained… that is why, after regular life set back in, and the novelty of their newfound techniques wore off, only a few were able to somewhat replicate their initial results… showing the vast importance of mind when it comes to conquering PE.

How to Properly Use Kegels To Last Longer During Intercourse

Unless you are attempting the male multiple orgasm technique, kegeling will actually cause you to ejaculate SOONER if you do it during sex. The PC muscle is located right next to the prostate, and when you squeeze it during sex, it can “prime the pump”, causing you to ejaculate sooner.

The idea is to strengthen the pc muscle when not having sex, but to keep it completely relaxed during sex.  This is how you use the pc muscle properly during sex…
