\"dipping<\/a>Sperm production, testosterone production, fertility, libido and sex drive are all related.\u00a0 The temperature of your testicles affects all of the above.<\/p>\n

Studies have shown that laptops (which heat up), when placed on the lap of males for extended periods of time, have been shown to lower fertility.\u00a0 So does taking long hot water baths or being in a jacuzzi for too long.<\/p>\n

Korean scientists did a study<\/a> on rats where they bathed them in hot water for a number of weeks, and there was a reduction in testosterone levels… with a stronger effect in the older rats.<\/p>\n

A man’s testicles are meant to be colder then their body temperature.\u00a0 That’s why in hot weather, your nuts drop far from your body, to keep cooler than your body.<\/p>\n

Hot water, warm testicles = bad for testosterone… cold water, cold testicles = better for testosterone.<\/h2>\n

Recently, the University of California at San Francisco did a study where men were exposed to 30 minutes of \u201cwet heat\u201d (hot baths and such) a week. When the men cut this exposure out, their sperm count went up by 491%, and their sperm\u2019s motility improved as well.<\/p>\n

This study<\/a>\u00a0felt that the incredible increase in sperm count, volume and motility found in winter months involves the same hormones as testosterone production, so cold should definitely boost this effect… and where does all this production occur?<\/p>\n

As my favorite science teacher in high school said when handing out exams… “I’m the tester… you’re the testees!”<\/em>.<\/p>\n
