“Weightlifting Routine for Naturally Boosting Testosterone Production”

Lifting weights might be one of the best ways for a man to stay young and virile, as well as keep his sex drive and libido high.

I can think of a number of men who are 50+ who go to my gym and who look GREAT.

I’m not going to say they look great for their age, because that takes away from it… I’m just going to say they look great in general, for any age.

There is this one 65 year old man with a hot ass wife, another 55 year old with a hot young girl, and another middle aged dude who runs around the gym macking to all the women like he’s Pimp Bishop Don Juan.

These guys are strong as hell, look WAY younger than their age, have excellent skin, muscle mass and obviously have a very strong sex drive to keep these younger women happy.

Weightlifting is the key to maintaining high testosterone levels, muscle mass, and a high libido/sex drive.

Weightlifting is the closest thing to the fountain of youth that we have.  And most men just look right past it… Now, if lifting weights can make these old men into virile young hornballs, imagine what it can do to younger men.

Just a couple of workouts a week are enough to turn you into a sex machine with a sky high libido.

A couple of days ago I wrote about how lifting weights increases your testosterone levels leading to a high sex drive and a number of other benefits.  Here is a routine along with some pointers for weightlifting to increase your testosterone production.

Throw away the testosterone replacement therapy… get rid of the needles and gels… if you are still young, increase your sex drive even more with weight training..

Weightlifting Exercises for More Testosterone, Sex Drive, Libido and Stronger Erections:

  • Make sure to eat a small meal with carbs (rice, potatoes, or pasta) and protein (chicken, beef, fish, pork) 2 hours before working out.  This ensures that you are not working out while hungry, nor are you digesting during your workout
  • Make sure to eat right after working out.  This feeds and heals the muscles that you’ve “broken down” during the workout, and ensures you keep some of the size you’ve achieved during the workout.
  • Never work out the same muscle group two days in a row.  This will lead to overtraining, which will actually keep you from gaining any size, and will make your testosterone levels plummet, as well as give you trouble sleeping (which will lead to even more testosterone problems).
  • working out while hungry, tired, without breathing sufficiently or drinking enough water can also lead to overtraining.
  • The main exercises that increase testosterone are compound workouts… workouts using various muscle groups.  Leg workouts are especially good for naturally increasing your testosterone production.
  • You want to really push yourself to gain the maximum libido enhancing benefits.  Relatively heavy weight to what you can lift (5 or 6 reps max), but always warm up with lighter weight is the best.
  • The more muscle mass you have on your body, the more you create testosterone and the faster you burn fat (faster metabolism).  Reducing your body fat and increasing your muscle mass alone are enough to strengthen your testosterone production.

    Here is a good example of a work out routine for a lazy man trying to naturally increase his testosterone production through weight lifting:

    Monday: Take the day off… Monday is a sad day, and if you’re anything like me you’re recovering from the weekend.

    Tuesday: Work out chest muscles:  Do 4 sets of flat bench press, 4 sets of incline bench press, and 4 sets of decline bench press.  Finish up with 4 sets of butterfly like chest workout, whether with cables or a machine.

    Wednesday: Strengthen your legs: Do 4 sets of squats (look up the proper form online… I’m not a personal trainer here, but you should learn the proper form; go real low while squatting), 4 sets of leg press, 4 front squats (look up), and a couple of hamstring machine workouts.

    Thursday: Workout your back… do a little research or ask around the gym on how to workout the back… machines are great.

    Remember, for all of these exercises, start with one set with real low weight to warm up your muscles, then jump into heavier weight in the next set, and then slightly heavier till you reach your max… really push your limits each week…

    For instance, I weigh about 155 lbs. and I used to be WEAK… with persistence and dedication I’m now bench pressing 245 and leg pressing well over 500 lbs on a regular basis.  I can easily squat 275, when I had first started out at 95 lbs.

    I now feel strong as an ox, have the sex drive of a recently released convict, and I’m going to keep feeling like this till I’m old and grey.

    Testosterone Levels, Sex Drive and Libido SURGING after Heavy Workout

    I worked out my chest and back muscles at the gym yesterday.

    Real heavy weight (at least relative to my own weight)…

    While I weigh no more than 155 pounds, I was bench pressing well over 225 pounds.  Just a few repetitions with relatively heavy weight is all a person needs to get a MAJOR boost of testosterone.

    I had a rough weekend of smoking bud, drinking brews, and partying without much sleep.  Those are all good ways to make my testosterone levels temporarily drop to the floor.  All day Monday morning I felt like a bitch… too lazy to hit the gym, I just sat home feeling kind of weak and down… I completely skipped the gym on Monday.

    Next day, I felt even worse, until I hit the gym that is.

    After a couple of bench press workouts I felt the warm male sex hormone surging throughout my body… I felt a lot more solid, looked at women around me like I was going to ravage them at any minute… spoke a little louder, felt a little more positive and stood more firm.  Felt overall manlier and more confident.  Might be all in my head but I was getting a lot more looks and stares from the ladies at the gym.

    Lots of people don’t get into weight lifting because they think they just aren’t cut out for it.

    Let me tell you; nobody starts off like an Arnold Schwarzenegger in his bodybuilding prime.

    I have a good friend who started working out with me a couple of months back… at first he struggled with bench pressing 115 pounds.  He was very discouraged.

    Take a Vacation from Stress and watch your Libido Skyrocket

    I’m stressed out and tired right now… and right now sex is the last thing on my mind…

    I know, you might be saying “how can Mr. Manpower not be thinking about sex?”..

    Well hey, it happens to the best of us.

    I currently work a full time job, I run this website and blog, and I work as a business broker on the side… it’s almost as if I have 3 full time jobs… stress levels skyrocket… sex drive plummets.

    That’s how it goes… extended periods of stress will cause your cortisol levels to rise, which in turn leads to a drop in testosterone production…

    You might be saying “what the hell?  Mr. Manpower running low on testosterone???”

    My answer to this is Mr. Manpower never even gets close to running out of testosterone… but his testosterone levels can take a hit.

    But give me a day or two of rest, a good gym workout, and my manly sex hormone will be surging as it usually does…

    I need to reduce my stress.  A reduction in stress leads to an improvement in sleep and lowers cortisol levels, which in turn leads to higher testosterone production, and therefore a stronger sex drive and libido.

    It’s always the same… every time I reduce my stress levels, I become a hornball monster beast.

    I’m normally a hornball monster beast (except right now at 5:47 pm on a Wednesday after a LONG couple of days of work)… so when I take a break from the work, I become a MAJOR hornball monster beast.

    The last vacation I went on was about a year ago.  I went to visit my sister up in Boston.

    At first it felt strange not having some kind of work to do, but upon becoming accustomed to the easy going ways of a vacation, my damn libido skyrocketed!

    A couple of days into the vacation I was walking around Boston “eye-fucking” every semi-attractive girl I saw…

    I felt like I did back in high school, when I had zero stress (public education in Miami is a joke) and no responsibilities… so I had plenty of libido and energy to be a hornball.

    Problem was Mr. Manpower had a girlfriend, and Mr. Manpower’s a faithful pussy… so I don’t cheat.  But I can look, flirt, dance, talk, etc…

    Upon arriving back in Miami 10 days later, my girlfriend picked me up at the airport.

    I went straight to my apartment and “did her in”, and I can honestly say I hadn’t been that horny in a LONG time… and I was jerking off every damn day of my vacation!  (something I don’t normally do, ejaculate everyday… but I FELT THE NEED TO EJACULATE).

    I was walking around the gym like I was crazy on Tuesday… I had to keep telling myself “take it easy Dave”…

    That night, I fiended for my lady like never before… I pulled my dick out and it was ROCK… like ROCK hard… veiny and shit… looked crazy.

    And I haven’t even hit a leg workout yet this week… wait till I do some squats and leg press… these exercises turn your legs into testosterone pumping factories… pumping out the warm sex hormone all throughout your body…

    Even if you do not regularly work out, it’s worth going to the gym at least twice a week to work out back and chest, and then another day for legs… or however you’d like.

    Forget Viagra… Natural Cures for Impotence

    I’m not a big fan of taking a little blue pill every time I want an erection.

    It would be a pain in the wallet, and I’d lose the feelings of me being a man

    Ejaculating on a Regular Basis is Good for your Sex Drive

    Remember back when you were a teen?  Remember when you first discovered masturbation?

    “Avoid these things that Reduce your Libido/Sex Drive…”

    There are a number of things that can reduce your libido/sex drive.

    Excessive stress levels, especially for a prolonged period of time, increase production of cortisol, which in turn reduces testosterone production… lower testosterone = lower sex drive.

    Lack of sleep can lower your libido… in the morning (or whenever you wake up) is when you have your highest levels of testosterone, and throughout the day, these testosterone levels slowly reduce.  Without a full nights rest, you do not start off with your full testosterone levels, and the situation gets worst as the day progresses.

    Another thing about not getting enough sleep is that you don’t respond to stress as well, and this allows the stress levels to mount… and as I mentioned above, high stress levels lead to lower sex drive.

    Having excessive fat in your stomach area causes estrogen production to increase, and this can have an inverse relation with your testosterone levels, leading to a lower sex drive.  Any reduction in stomach fat can cause a significant improvement in your testosterone levels and sex drive.

    Throw in some weight training, and you can help counter the testosterone reducing properties of the belly fat.

    Not getting enough exposure to sunlight, not eating a fair amount of fats in your meal, as well as excessive aerobic activity can also lead to a reduction in testosterone, lowering your sex drive/libido.

    If you can keep these guidelines in mind, then you’ll be able to boost your testosterone production and increase your sex drive.

    Hello Antonio:

    Regarding those male enhancement pills… they contain a lot of natural aphrodisiacs and herbs to increase libido and blood flow to the penis, but do nothing to make your penis bigger like they claim.

    They are also overpriced (you can get the pure herbs alone for cheaper) and many of these male enhancement pills continue charging your credit card after you canceled your orders.  For more on these BS pills read this.

    There are a few herbs out there that work.. in your case, you might want to try tribulus terrestris or tongkat ali.  They have been shown to scientifically proven to increase testosterone levels.

    But until you make some fundamental changes to your lifestyle, you most likely won’t see any major changes in your sex drive… but these herbs could contribute to the boosting of your libido, especially after starting the exercises.

    Question regarding my Natural Libido Enhancement program: “Does excessive Aerobic Exercise really reduce Testosterone Levels?”

    Hello Antonio:

    One thing to note.. the more muscle mass you have on your body, the quicker you kill fat cells.

    Get into the gym, begin lifting weights.  Certain workouts such as squats and bench press workout muscle groups that’ll pump more testosterone into your body.

    Eat more meals during the day, but in smaller portions… this keeps your metabolism going.  Eat a small meal (balanced protein/carbs) two hours before you workout, so that when you workout, you are not splitting your energy into digesting AND working out.  You will have digested food to burn, yet you won’t be hungry.

    And eat as soon as you get out, a small meal, with equal amounts of protein and carbs.  This will help you keep more of the muscle mass you just gained.

    Remember, the more muscle mass you have present on your body, the more testosterone you naturally produce, AND the more fat your body burns.

    Please, do not cut out aerobic activity.  When I mention the cyclists, it’s true, they have been shown to have reduced levels after cycling events…. but these are LONG cycling events…45 - 60 minutes of aerobic activity would actually be great for you.

    Try getting into something where you will be exercising but you’ll like it… so it’s not a chore.  Treadmills are so boring.

    Have you thought about boxing or martial arts?  You can overcome your fears, while gaining confidence and physical skills, and in the meantime you’ll lose a shitload of weight.

    Or if not, how about soccer, tennis?

    I bet if you begin to follow the advice above, you will mentally and physically begin to feel better in no time… and the effect will continue to improve.. your testosterone production will naturally improve, and your sex drive will skyrocket… and the positive effects will continue to grow.

    Do Cialis and Viagra Increase Libido and Sex Drive?

    No….Cialis, nor Viagra, nor Levitra work to increase libido and sex drive. They do serve as excellent erectile dysfunction treatments, as I’ve witnessed on a couple of recreational uses, but they do nothing to increase libido.

    In other words, if you are worried that you have lost interest in sex, or you don’t feel as horny as you used to, popping a Viagra will make no difference. Testosterone, the male sex hormone responsible for sex drive and libido, is not affected at all by these common erectile dysfunction treatments.

    The good news is that there are natural ways of boosting your testosterone levels, and therefore increasing your libido.  Weighttraining contributes a great deal to the production of testosterone.  Squats and bench press with relatively heavy weight work the proper muscles that stimulate production of testosterone, which in turn work to increase libido.

    There are a number of different elements to naturally boosting your sex drive, and when you do them all, you will become one manly sex machine.
