Can Kegels CAUSE Premature Ejaculation??

can kegels cause premature ejaculation

Kegels are supposed to be the magical solution to all sexual problems…

  • Kegels are touted as the cure to premature ejaculation
  • Kegels are touted as the cure to erectile dysfunction

Okay, a strong PC muscle IS essential to sexual health, including lasting longer during sex and strengthening your erections.

But kegels need to be trained and used correctly during sex in order to reap the benefits.

When used incorrectly kegels aka PC squeezes CAN cause premature ejaculation.

Kegels should be done when not having sex, in order to strengthen the PC muscle.  Kegels can be performed on a regular basis, and if performed correctly (without involving any neighboring muscles, like the abdominal and buttock muscles), the pc muscle will be greatly strengthened

And this will lead to improved erection quality and better sexual stamina.

However, during sex, squeezing the pc muscle can actually pump/prime your prostate, and in that case kegels can cause premature ejaculation.

The idea of lasting longer during sex, is to relax all of your pelvic and pc muscles, not squeezing them.

You also want to keep your mind at ease.

Ejaculation control exercises can train you to get your mind and body and order, in order to train yourself to last as long as you want during sex.. even if you currently have premature ejaculation.

However, there is a time when you’d want to kegel during sex.  The male multiple orgasm is a technique that requires a strong pc muscle, and needs you to kegel during sex.

When approaching orgasm, a strong kegel can cut off the ejaculation while you orgasm, and this allows you to maintain your erection after orgasm, and keep on penetrating with a hard erection until the next orgasm.

The male multiple orgasm isn’t the easiest technique to pull off… you can try it, but in 99% of the cases you will still lose your erection, thanks to a harmless retrograde ejaculation

This only happens the one time you try this technique, it’s not a permanent condition (as some people freak out), but the ejaculate goes to your bladder for this one time… so technically you are still ejaculating, which causes you to lose your erection.

So keep on kegeling, but kegel correctly!
